DUKE
OF
EDINBURGH

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a nationally recognised programme of activities that is proven to develop essential life skills which are vital for the development of young people. There are three progressive levels of programme which when successfully completed lead to either a BRONZE, SILVER or GOLD award. Every participant on the DofE has to take part in some form of expedition. This has provided the opportunity for many young people to find their way through unfamiliar country and to fulfil their spirit of adventure.

Schools and Groups

Bronze, Silver and Gold

As an approved provider for the Duke of Edinburgh Award X Adventure Activities can deliver an expedition for your students via walking, Canoeing or Cycling.

We organise the expedition in consultation with the school and students and provide much of the equipment required.

We can offer the students the opportunity to walk, canoe or cycle their expedition and pride ourselves on the positive feedback received from students, parents and teaching staff.

We can package the whole expedition for you; from training to completion; anywhere within the UK.

Individuals (Open Expeditions)

Silver or Gold

Open expeditions enable independent participants, those who may have missed their own group’s expedition or those unable to form a viable team to complete a practice and / or qualifying expedition.

This format allows participants to meet and make new friends along the journey.

You don’t have to be completely independent, join with a friend or friends and complete which ever part of the expedition that suits you.

We have set dates and locations, please contact us for details using the email link below, we can then send further information.
