Outdoor education

Outdoor education is good for children and young people; it helps them gain a practical understanding of the world around them, builds self confidence, tests abilities and allows young people to take managed risks with a development of responsibility.

The body of research showing the considerable health and well being benefits of spending time in the outdoors is growing. Outdoor education can play a significant role helping children and young people develop soft skills like good communication, teamwork and leadership; these are essential to the well rounded education that is vital for life beyond the classroom. X Adventure activities offers a number of different outdoor adventure services specially aimed at the schools and youth market.
