Develop Yourself; Develop Your Future

Youth Development

We deliver bespoke, thought provoking, engaging and educational programmes for young people aged 14 – 26-year-old.

Youth development is at the heart of everything we deliver. We use outdoor activities and programmes to facilitate change and to focus each person’s journey of discovery.

We actively empower individuals to improve self-confidence, personal relationships with peers, leadership and communication.

The outdoors and nature is recognised as helping to deal with many of the stresses of home, school and social life and the anxiety that these pressures produce.

We help to build foundations to young people’s lives and give them the stepping stones to the future.

We can help young people find themselves and to learn that their past does not need to cloud their future.

The Focus Programme

The programme is aimed at young people lacking in direction, self-confidence and self-belief, who struggle with school commitment and who find the four walls of school learning difficult to manage. This may exhibit in challenging behavior’s or in a lack of self-motivation.

With a prevalence of anxiety and low mental health in some of our young generation, our focus programme will help re-direct, give confidence and build mental well being.

We offer a challenging outdoor educational programme, hosted and delivered by qualified outdoor professional staff. Our focus is to highlight personal areas for improvement, to work towards school engagement, to build resilience and to help mentor the students in life skills. Our aim is to re-engage students with school and schools to re-engage with students, no-one is ever a lost cause.

We also work with SEN students as part of their ongoing life development, alongside their teachers or pastoral care teams. This could be on a one to one basis, dependent on their needs or abilities.

The programme is primarily delivered at our bespoke development centre in Horsford, Norfolk.

Schools and groups can refer their students directly onto the programme without the need for supervising school staff to attend.

The duration of the programme is for 1 day a week over 6 or 12 weeks.

What is covered on the programme:

  • Life Skills
